Cech to replace Ospina?

While the transfer window does not open until 1st July, the rumour mill has been in overdrive.

One potential deal of the summer could be the transfer of Petr Cech from Chelsea to Arsenal.

After losing his first team spot to Thibaut Courtois, Cech looks set to leave the Champions. The Czech's preference is to remain in London and that puts Arsenal in pole position to sign the stopper.

The transfer, if it does happen, would mean one of David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny leaving the club. According to various reports, Ospina will be sacrificed.

Rather surprising when the Colombian just joined last season and has done admirably since taking over the gloves, scoring an average rating of 7.06*.

Meanwhile, Wojciech Szczesny had a rating of 6.46* and Petr Cech averages 6.99* in 6 appearances.

It does not make sense to sell your statistically better player, doesn't it? Then again, this is nothing but rumours.

P.S - Anyone remember Lukasz Fabianski? With a rating of 7.09*, he was the 4th best performing goalkeeper in the Premier League.
